We had a lovely Christmas and New Years together with some actual time off and quiet days with no set schedules or activities. We had lovely visits with family, some sleepy girlies, a New Year's Eve visit with our dear friend Marshall and chilly New Year's walks followed by snacks by the fire. Now we're wintering even though snow has yet to arrive and the grass is green. Grey days have not stopped us from trips to the Nature Center or the farm to meet Larry the goat. We've also busied ourselves with inside projects such as Lena's quilt- finally finished and made with Grandmom's clothes. Not that a 1 year old appreciates such a gift but there's lots of love sewn into it by Momma and Papa and memories of shirts, curtains and my Mom's cloth stash. Blessings to you in the New Year!
