Overflowing Days

Our days are so full just now- catching up with old college friends, bike rides on the Perkiomen Trail, berry tarts, birthday celebrations with dear friends, remembering Dr. Hsu our beloved teacher on his birthday, painting in the back yard and catching up with our Lithuanian friends.  I cannot really even keep track of our daily events.  Time moves forward in God's goodness and we are praising Him for beautiful early summer weather.

Summertime

We finished up our school year with a butterfly release of the painted lady butterflies we hatched. It was a special way to end our science lifecycle study and imagine them going out into the warm summer night. But really our summer has been so full and fast already it's hard to keep track of the days and weeks. We've been enjoying berries and flowers and a quick trip to the lake, pool splashing, bike rides and a trip to Morris Arboretum.  The girls are learning to name flowers, plants and animals.  They are hungry to learn and it is beautiful to watch their wonder.
