Long lost Springtime

For a while it seemed as if spring would never come.  We experienced spring through paper flowers and crafts in our April Unit Study of Plant Life.  It has been unusually chilly and grey and my goodness, little people want to get out in the mud.  Their Mama wants sunshine.  Thankfully it may finally be coming.  We have birds and green grass and warmer sunshine.

It's been busy here nonetheless, with preparations for ballet recitals, field trips, a sprained wrist (Lena) and some new physical therapy for Mama, we blink and here we are close to May.  I can't believe that little Lena will be four soon. Where does time go? I hope that in the fringes of the day, in the business and ups and downs of life we cherish each moment.

He is Risen

Because it STILL FEELS LIKE WINTER it feels surprising that we have passed Easter already.  Nonetheless, He is risen!!! We spent Good Friday at Tenth Presbyterian, where we were married and then jotted over to the Philadelphia Art Museum- it was interesting to see Biblical Art, especially the Crucifixion on such a precious day.  Easter Sunday we went to our church and out to Lebanon to be with family.  After Easter, it snowed again. We wait expectantly, for it to stop snowing!!
