October Birthdays

As we get cozy at home in preparation for the storm
we think of Nana on her 88th birthday and praise God for her and for her life.
So this year- Nana's birthday gift is Emmeline.

Nana meets Emmeline

Emmeline was almost born on her Oma's birthday- October 16th- but she decided to take
her good old time. Happy late birthday Oma. We love you.

Emmeline loves her Oma

October 19th is Emmeline's Great-Grandmother's birthday. We remember MomMom this October  and wish
she could have met Emmie.  October 19th is also Grammy's birthday- Joan.  Still waiting for a picture with Emmie. Happy Birthday MomMom and Grammy.

Waiting...

As Autumn arrives with colder weather and the first frost
we wait for baby's arrival by:
Having our first fire of the season

Bringing in our herbs and hoping they'll make it through
the winter

Watching expectantly for signs of her arrival

-celebrating together - a country drive through 3 parks

And a picnic to commemorate the weekend before baby's birth.

Enjoying the fall leaves and the cool air

And one more belly shot at 39 weeks!
See you soon baby girl.

Sunday Walk

It's been a while since we posted a Sunday walk picture, but yesterday we
took an Autumn walk on the Perkiomen Trail as the leaves were just beginning to show some color.
There is something very special about our Sunday afternoon walks- a bit of quiet after
a busy week and reflection on God's beauty and goodness to us.

It was perhaps more of a waddle this time around.
