| Last Saturday we took a "holiday" at Peace Valley Park and read by the lake. It was a lovely time in the sun even if it was a bit hot. A swim in Dad's pool afterwards cooled us off. |

| Nothing like quilts and books and grass in the summertime! |

| The following day we had a wonderful sunlit picnic and stroll through the Morris Arboretum with our friends the Petersons. |
