Levi is Seventeen Months

 This little man is seventeen months old and is as busy as a beaver.  You can tell this from his black eye, scraped knee, and bruises all over. Levi is talking so much. His new phrases include "com mere" (come here), "That's a____"  (tractor, cement truck, digger).  "a fa fly"  (butterfly),  "help dink" (help drink), "do heaby" (so heavy),  "on doos" (on shoes),  "paplane" (airplane), "abit" (ribbit), "pinkle" (pickle), "on boops pees" (on boots please).    He is currently getting four teeth and is not too happy about it.  He loves to dance and can't resist going into the music room during lessons or practice to listen and  "help" play. He is fascinated with tools, and wires and is constantly dismantling things and trying to put them back together. Tractors are still his favorite! Blueberries (frozen) and sausage are his favorite foods. He's 25 pounds and really tall.  Sleep is still not something he considers to be important and even talks about tractors in his sleep! He counts with his fingers "one two three two"..... and loves to sing his ABCs.  He's a hoot and we love him. 

When you were five!

Our Birdie is five today! Happy birthday to our sweet Phoebe who has grown up so much this year.  Phoebe is very proud that her hair is growing long, is so happy to finally be doing ballet, is starting to read, knows all of her ABC's and is a most excellent big sister. This summer she's learning to swim and has mastered her bicycle without training wheels. She loves her chicks and chickens and her big sisters and brother.  She played in her first ever piano recital and loves to draw people.  Phoebe has a wild imagination and I never know who will appear from the downstairs dress up bin.  She is kind hearted and thinks through things for hours, asking all sorts of questions right at bedtime.  She loves watermelon and all kinds of fruit. She does not like spinach or mushrooms. She loves asparagus.  She is dramatic and full of energy, feels big feelings and loves so well. She makes us laugh so much and sees the world through eyes that only she has.  She LOVES to talk. Phoebe loves learning about Jesus, wants to understand the Trinity and is ready for Jesus to come blow the trumpet. She loves flowers and fairies, unicorns and  Frog and Toad.  She loves audio books and Frog and Toad books are her favorite.   We love you Phoebe Bird and ask that God will bless you always and bring you a year of great joy.
