We are emerging from the mountains of boxes, though there are still many to get to. But, we're here in our new home. We're thankful for it and happy to be on the other side. We're learning new sounds (like cows), new neighbors (deer), and new past times (new trails, new walks). We're still trying to find homes for all of our books. With 7 degrees between us and homeschooling- we have a lot of books. Here are a few snapshots of our last 2 weeks. But what they don't show are the countless friends and family members who have helped paint, move, brought meals and helped us settle into our new home. We are so thankful.

Midsummer
We're days away from moving and I'm feeling all stressed and sentimental. To say the past few weeks have been hectic would be the understatement of the century. But they've been full of good things too- lots of trips to the creek, fairy dancing in the daisies in white dresses, lightningbug catching when up way past bedtime, playing SORRY together, visiting Nana, playdates with friends, pickle making, biking at Green Lane Park and investigating our new neighborhood.
